More Power for Evinrude 90

Randy

I have a 1994 90hp Evinrude with a jet on it.  The motor locked up.  What all do I have to do to get it equal to the 115hp Evinrude.  Is it just the size of the piston?

Thanks
Cody

Cody,

The porting in the block is different. The piston is the same. The heads and carbs are also different, with some changes to the exhaust system. In a nutshell, it is not worth the cost to change all the necessary parts to gain the 10-15 real hp between the motors.
