Johnson 90 won't Start

Greetings Randy,

We recently purchased a used 91' Bass Tracker boat from a dealership that came with the original motor -- 90 Pro Series Johnson. We took it out, it started fine and ran fine. Then we stopped to fish. When we tried to start the motor again it would not start. We took it back to the dealership and they said they replaced the head and pistons in the motor and fixed the problem. However, we drove it for an hour today and it ran fine. We stooped
to fish and when we tried to start it, it would not start. Evidently the dealership did not fix the problem. Any ideas what it could be?

It sounds electrical - like a power pack breaking down. You will need to check for spark when it doesn't start.
