Pro V Power

Randy,I was wondering if I could bolt on two hundred carbs on an otherwise stock proV 150. My boat is a 17 ft. panther. I was thinking of a 26 inch laser 2 prop for tubing, skiing and SPEED! I would be happy with mid seventys. Thanks for all of you're informative articles, I'd appreciate any tips you can give me.

The Pro V 150 can be “up-horse powered” with 200 carb and reeds. They must be used together and the timing should be brought down to 22 degrees. This gives 5-8 mph. Look into a 23-25 pro series stainless to go along with the power. That should give you some added performance.
