Prop for Ranger

I purchased a 17ft 1997 r77 Ranger with a 115 Evinrude outboard.  My question is two fold; first I really need a suggestion on the best prop to run to pull a wakeboarder, and second I am having problems while turning the boat.  It feels like the prop is coming out of the water and I have to almost stop the boat before it has any torque.  Do you feel that is the prop?

Thank You for any returns!

Sounds like you need one of the new 4 blade stainless props for the boat. The transom height is high on that boat. A nice heavy cupped 4 blade in the 19-21 range will get you going.
