Prop for Valero V/Merc 2.5 200
have an 84 Hydrostream Valero V-Bottom with a 91 2.5 Mercury 200 Carb with
Bob’s Machine low water pickup and 5 ½” Setback, manual jackplate.
Bottom of boat has been sanded also. Motor is all stock. What type of prop
should I be running, at what RPM’s, and what should I hope for on top
Tritons, Cleavers, the whole gamut works on your combo. 80 plus is easy
and 90 plus is not hard to get. You will need 28-30” pitch and 6500 plus
to be on target.
