Hi Randy, I have an 86 vector with a 135L merc.
The last time we spoke you advised me to learn to master the
chinewalking before adding performance. I have since been able to do that
and I am totally in love with this boat. Its the most fun I have ever had
with my pants on!!! I can now run the boat to top speed at will,
which is 76 mph on the speedo at 65 to 6600 rpm. I am now looking for a
new prop and would appreciate any suggestions. I am currently running a 25
pitch laser 3 blade. Seems to be good all around. I am not as concerned
with overall performance as with top end. I think that this boat will do
over 80 mph with the right wheel. Thank you for all your help as I have
saved loads of time by using your expertise. Thanks again
