Ventura Coring

Dear Randy;

I've got a 1976 Ventura 16.6ft and all the balsam wood is rotted out. I've removed all the rotted wood and now need to replace it. What type of wood other than balsam can I use to replace it before I fiberglass?

Thanks,
Mike

Mike,

The best thing to use would be Klegecell foam core material. It is easier to use and never rots. Check the web for Klegecell products and if someone local close to you carries it. If not, have it drop shipped. Hope this helps.

Randy
