Viper Capacity Plate

I have a '78 15' Viper that has the Coast Guard Capacity Plate missing.  I don't want to get busted by the IL DNR for not having one.  It was removed by my speed freak dad that used to own the boat when he had a 200hp Merc. on it (92mph) and added some gauges and lost it.  Do you know how I can get a replacement or even a copy of one from another boat you have contact with, just so I have something to show the DNR.  I would truly appreciate the info. and help.

Thank you, Brian

Unfortunately you are S.O.L. on the plate. The DNR can use the length x width (in feet) x 2 90 formula. 15 x 7.2 ft x2 90 for a 126 hp rating according to US Coast Guard guidelines.
