Viper Prop Slippage Problem

I have a 1983 viper with a 1984 Merc inline 6 115hp. Right now I have a 23 pitch aluminum prop and I have a terrible problem with prop slippage. At 3/4 throttle I can red line the motor and only do 50-55 depending on what’s in my boat. What can I do for a prop to get more speed out of the boat without busting the bank, because I am only seventeen and I have to pay for this.

You could do 1 of 2 things. Have a prop shop add some cup to the prop you have. This should not be more than $50. Or bite the bullet and buy a 22 Laser II. This will run $350 plus though.
