Voyager XT/Evinrude V8 Prop

Hi Randy,

Have a couple of questions, just purchased a 1988 Voyager XT with a 300 Evinrude V8. Boat came with a hydraulic jack plate, a 28 chopper, and a 30 Mazco RE. I am looking for advice on a "ski" prop. It would probably still pull skiers out of the hole with the chopper, but I want something that planes a little better, maybe a through the hub prop. I don't want to go crazy for bottom end, I don't want to put too much stress on the transom, it has plenty of power, but also a lot of weight hanging back there. Any advice would be appreciated.

Try finding an OMC shooter 25 prop. They have a great hole shot and the top end is not too bad. It is an old prop, but you should find one pretty reasonable. Second choice would be any good "bass boat" 4 blade.
