Hydrostream for Water Skiing

Randy

I have been wanting a Hydrostream for a long time now and have heard from friends that they are no good for water skiing. Is this true? I want to use it for speed but also to ski behind. What do you think: buy a different boat or get the Hydrostream.

Darcy:

I don't know where you heard they are bad for skiing.  The ones I have setup, have been rated quite high by Waterski Magazine.  It is possible to have a fairly fast Hydrostream that also skis very well.  Stick with an 18 or 20 ft. stream and you should be in the ballgame.  Good luck on your search.
